Hello Everyone!

About Me

1st time home owner. looking to remodel entire home and yard.
My home is 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 1 bath with a full basement.
I hope to make it a 3 bedroom, 3 bath 2400 sq ft home by finishing the basement, adding 1 bedroom and 1 bath downstairs, removing 1 bedroom from the main floor and using that space to open the existing bathroom and adding a master bath. I also want to open the walls from around the stairs leading down to the basement and installing railing around the staircase. which will open up the kitchen and dining room. Upgrade all of the wiring to include solar panels with generator backup to help cut power costs. install heat/AC, new plumbing, and dry wall the entire home...

Dining Room, I did not like the way the dining room was. It had the stairs going down to the basement right in the middle between the dining room and kitchen. After opening up the walls around the stairs. I talked to a contractor friend about moving the stairs over to the side of the room so that I could leave it open from the kitchen through to the dining room. Since this was a structural move I had to get help. If you dont know how to or feel that it may be a little beyond your knowledge/skills get help! It will be money well spent., Dining Rooms Design
