About Me

Forty-something year old enjoying life with my three little doggies. Spent the past several years decorating my older townhome. I love to decorate and rearrage furniture. My favorite home improvement project: PAINTING... I love to paint! Somtimes watching too much HGTV can get a girl in trouble!! Yard sales, thrift stores, estate sales and the occasional dumpster can yield wonderful items for your home!
Also have a nice double-wide in a rural setting that I am going to renovate/update. I may give up living in town and head to the country!

Renovation Project, 10 year old double-wide in great condition that I want to update before I move in. Open to all suggestions regarding the cabinets, walls and flooring. The cabinets are in great original condition - they look to me alittle to orange. I've thought about sanding and painting them white. Can't wait to add color to these white walls but they have the typical "strips" which must come down. That would not be such a problem but the wall board has a texture on it... I will need alot of guidance on this one! Now for the flooring question... laminate or real hard-wood? I am a single girl so this renovation is on a strict budget! , Kitchens Design
