retired to va from nj and love it here house and 4 acreas of land was 119 thousand and the house is 2440 sq. ft. would recommend this area to anyone . i live on the southside , 15 minutes from nc the weathers great and i love to garden and i built my koi pond and the houses too. i am now biulding a bigger koi pond , the koi where an inche long and are now a foot long . love to work in my studio and create and build new things . love it here great shopping and the hillsville flea market is 2 times a year . it takes up the whole town great bargains
