I got addicted to HGTV when I was recovering from foot surgery. Six weeks in front of the TV. That's all it took. Since then, I started my own business after returning from the Peace Corps and now I do it for enjoyment with my husband who is extremely skilled in carpentry. Now, in 2012, we are retired, but still do a lot of projects. I am not on scaffolding anymore, but I am still painting and sewing projects. I am still addicted to this wonderful outlet.
