Outdoor Tuscan Living in Michigan, We created a large outdoor patio space with concrete and brick work matching the facade of our 1926 Italianate house. We added a large number of concrete walkways, landscaping, and exterior lighting. The main patio faces the street so we can watch the world go by with a nice glass of wine., Home Exterior Design

A well lived in french Country Victorian, This room is tootaly french country in the way that it's open shelves colors and eclectic mix. I built all the shelves and cabinets except for the 1890's french dining hutch.. covered the kitchen counter in copper tiled. i wanted it to look like a very old kitchen and also incredibly functional.. Its a place that inspires good food. , Kitchens Design

My process to create a royal bedroom.. , This is my bedroom I have before and after of the actual bed that I bought from JC Penny for $600. The form was great but the finish was cheap.. The wall panels I hand painted copied from 18th century panels I found in a book called the French Archive.... and the cornice I made with plywood and the plastic moulding you can buy at Lowes. all painted and gilt aged to resemble and old antique for practically nothing. , Bedrooms Design

A Cozy french inspired den/guest room, Here I took a very small room off the veranda and made it into my guest room with an 19th century daybed adding a 1960's opulent Italian headboard. I built my cabinet and hand painted Neoclassical panels. The wallpaper is a document chinoiserie print toile that I used in my front room on a very small chair to tie the front of the house to the back.. The ceiling I thought would be fun to add a huge medallion just to mix it up. , Bedrooms Design
