Rykers Choo Choo Room, My little man loves choo choos, and since his little brother will be here in a few weeks, we had to give him a new room so Briggs could take over the nursery. Ryker is still in a crib, so I bought my neighbor's crib for $60 and painted it red. We are hoping to keep him in it as LONG as possible:) I did however design the room around being able to move a big boy bed right in without having to change up the room...hope you enjoy., Nurseries Design

Traditional Meets Transitional, Thank God for Insurance...the day before thanksgiving, my husband and I came home to a busted water heater in our attic that flooded the entire living room. My first reaction was to totally freak out. My second reaction, however, was pure excitement when I realized this meant a brand new living room. So, this is the finished product after new hardwood floors, new furniture, and some new accents. I wanted an up-to-date look with a touch of traditional flare. I love the high back couch and chair with the bright, fun pillows. The rug was a steal from overtock.com, and many of the accents I painted cream to pull everything together...All for our $1000 deductible:), Living Rooms Design
