Glam Guest Room, We wanted to create a guest room with a relaxing atmosphere for our guests that would make them feel like they were visiting a boutique hotel for the night. Because we are involved in a whole home renovation we really needed to be budget conscious whenever possible and this room was likely our most budget friendly room in the house. We either made, had or were given most of the stuff in the room. The only cost was the paint and wallpaper, the chandelier and the wood to make the headboard. I would estimate under $300 to do the entire room. We love having company and this room is getting lots of use!, Bedrooms Design

How Suite It Is, Our Master Bedroom and Ensuite are finally done! It has truly been a labor of love for us and we are so pleased with the results. Our Inspiration came from the headboard we made from exotic wood screens. From there we created the bedside lighting from Moroccan style lanterns. To pull it all together we found an amazing rock sink. By combining two rooms we created a large open space with an exotic hotel feel that includes a cozy sitting area. The ensuite boasts a wonderful double shower that reminds us of some of the beautiful hotels we have visited., Bedrooms Design

All Decked Out, Finally we have our beautiful cedar deck completed. It really adds to our home by offering us extended living space directly accessed through the double french doors both in the kitchen and the dining room. We wanted to create a space that welcomed visitors as well as brought back memories of two of our favorite destinations, Sardinia, Italy and South Beach. Candice Olson Inspired Kitchen, This contemporary kitchen was inspired by a Candice Olson design. There is a light and airy feel to this space because it opens up to the dining room but it also has 2 french doors that open up to a beautiful deck that adds living space outdoors. The wall colour is a Sarah Richardson colour by Para and the cabinets are Ikea. The two granite choices add interest to the space by complimenting the white and dark wood cabinets.
