The never ending project....., Well, finally I am getting there. After divorcing, moving, and now renting.....I have lived here for a year and a half now. And this bedroom has been a problem. It has to hold the office too since there is no other space in the home that will. (the bedroom is quite large, and the rest of the rooms are quite small, go figure....)) I was bothered by the gold trim around the mirrored closet doors, and thought I definitely needed to do something about it! After further pondering, and the endless possibilities, I decided to leave well enough alone and incorporate just a little gold elsewhere too. Now please keep in mind, the file cabinet that has the white runner over it and the extra chair will be gone. I need some muscles to move the file cabinet. I would eventually after those 2 things are moved, would like to get a small comfy chair to put there. , Bedrooms Design

**THE TREE**, Not much different than last year, but instead of just pink for my daughter, this year she wanted green ornaments as well. Now keep in mind please this is in her living area.....She is 11, I don't have room for a tree upstairs anyway, so we create it for her! She loves it!, Holidays Design

Kitchen for the Holiday! , Since it is just divided by a half wall from the living room I figured I may as well add a little Holiday cheer in there too!, Kitchens Design

~*No RoOm For A TreE Up HerE!*~, My living room decorated for the Holidays! Definitely had to make due with what I already had with the exception of the small wreath on the mirror. I bought the wreath base at the Dollar Tree and then used what I had to create the wreath. Even though I don't have room for a tree up here I at least wanted it to look somewhat festive for the Holiday's. Maybe eventually I could get one of those kinda skinny trees for up here. We do have a tree, it's just in the basement in my daughter's little living area. , Living Rooms Design

OH MY~~, The before picture is not when I lived here, but is what I had to deal with when I moved into this home~~ Please keep in mind, this is a rental, (definitely will be a long term rental) so the changes are budget friendly and provide an entire new look. Cabinets are painted, 30.00 worth of paint, added hardware to them with hardware purchased from ebay, 50.00,new lighting, 200.00 to the light above the table as well as the chandy above the sink, wall paint, 13.00, kitchen chairs, were off of either wayfair or overstock, I honestly don't remember which. They were on sale, I will see if I can find what I paid for them, kitchen table- 30.00, craigslist, over the range microwave, also a craigslist find- 45.00, kitchen faucet, overstock, 70.00, ribbon to personalize the light above the table, the shade over the window, etc. 5.00, wall words, 15.00, Hobby Lobby. Then end result, a million times better than the before!!!!!The backsplash is made from bamboo blinds that were intended for my previous home and didn't work here. So, why waste, installed like you would tile and painted rust-oleum metallic white. No labor cost involved since I as able to install the remove and install new lighting myself as well as the faucet. The rest is just cosmetic!!!!, Kitchens
