Elegant Office Nook, My office space is housed in a tiny 6x9' nook that was perfect for what I needed. I recently revamped it with paint & wallpaper, to up the pretty factor. You may have seen my space before, but now with the addition of a wallpapered feature wall, paint & decluttering, it looks so much more elegant and organized. Classic Neutral Dining Room, Inspired by the Something's Gotta Give dining room that many of us fell in love with, I recently repainted our dining room from brick red to a creamy neutral. Now my dark wood furniture really stands out and takes center stage. And most of the accessories and fabrics are neutral too, which makes for a very calming place to dine. The black bordered seagrass rug really grounds the space and tones down the formality of the antique furniture. The sideboard and china cabinet are vintage and the table and chairs are new. Salvaged vintage columns found a spot in the corners for a little more architectural detail. This DR is not large, only 10x12', but is very cozy. I started a collection of white creamware about a year ago and most of this came from yardsales and thriftstores. Not expensive, but looks great in a grouping. I also did the picture frame molding myself & had wanted a wainscote look for a while. We alredy had the chairrail and I added the molding below & painted it all glossy white.
