Sell in a day home tour! B&A, Some may have seen some of the individual posts from this home, but this is the house in its entirety. If you are looking to sell, knowing that spending some up front can net huge rewards in the end. This beach home had won architectural awards when it was first built, but had not been remodeled in 25 years! So some renovations were in order before it could be sold to net a top dollar sale. With a $28,000 investment we added literally $250,000 to the original appraised value. It sold in 1 day for $150,000 over the asking price for $1,175,000. Not a bad return on investment! That included remodeling the kitchen, all the bathrooms, the fireplace, new carpeting, new paint, and even the appliances. Here is a tour of the before and afters of the renovated and staged home. It was a fun project, and with a view like that, it was not a hard gig to do! Hope you find some inspiration whether you are selling or just looking some budget friendly ideas. , Living Rooms Design

Big Change 4 Chump Change B&A, This small kitchen had a small budget. We saved money by keeping the cabinetry, but replacing the red tile was essential. The appliances were over 20 years old so they had to go. The trash compactor was replaced with a wine fridge. We had a shoestring budget to remodel with, but we revamped the whole kitchen, including appliances for only $8500., Kitchens Design

$375 Powder Room Remodel B&A, We had a very tiny budget and a very tiny bathroom. We had to keep the cabinet, but the black tile was replaced with beautiful glass stick tile. The tiles are in blue, sea glass green, and charcoal, to tie in the the charcoal cabinetry. The corroded brass faucet and black hexagon sink was replaced with an Ebay find. The mirror is the same, but just framed out and painted black. The wallpaper was replaced with a soft sea green paint., Bathrooms Design
