I did not post my rooms to seek anyone's approval or disproval. I came to share. I'm glad other people have shared their rooms also because I have gotten some fabulous ideas, which is the purpose of this site to begin with. Not to intimidate the posters so that they will eventually remove their spaces. Many of the comments on various people's pages by specific people are NOT constructive. They are mean, hateful and unprofessional. It's amazing that so many people that post comments here have no tolerance of other people's taste, style, beliefs or budget. Insisting that poster's design their rooms to thier specifications is nothing but intimidating and bullying. If you don't have anything that is truely constructive to say, then don't post any comments as they will be flagged and deleted.
The rating system is a joke because several people mis-use it's purpose to get back at the poster when they either don't agree with them or they just don't like them. The comments will tell the true story. If you have several good comments and the same people over and over keep giving negative comments, everyone can read between the lines and knows what really is going on. If they want to waste their time because they obvioulsy have nothing better to do then lower the ratings on specific people's pages, then so be it. It's a childish game and no one really cares anyway.
Our passion is traveling to the Caribbean and Mexico. In my spare time I enjoy watching HGTV, scrapbooking our trips and updating/remodeling our home. My design style is my own as to what we like and feel comfortable with. There are no real design rules. Just go with your heart.
