Two Hot Girls - Crystal and Penny, This wall quilt was made to hang in my sister's house to compliment a exquisite painting she had on an opposing wall. The batiks especially the icy blue used in the inner border worked perfectly. The pattern uses 2.5" strips based on the pattern "Stepping Stones.", Special Occasions Project

Jenny's Star Fishes, My sister Jennifer Davis-Ford is my inspiration for this One Block Wonder Quilt. Dizzied by a sea of orange and black fishy kaleidoscopes she schooled me on color placement and encouraged me to follow my passion for quilting. If you look closely you can find fish in many of the blocks. This is my first quilt using the kaleidoscope technique and my first quilt show entry in a show this spring! It is machine pieced and machine quilted. , Special Occasions Project
